Kente Weaving in Ghana In 2007, I traveled to Ghana and was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study Kente weaving with Kwame, an Ewe tribe weaver with 29 years of experience. I have captured some of what I learned here, in hopes that it may prove useful (or at least interesting) to others. If you are interested in studying weaving in Ghana, please contact Aba Tours, and they will gladly set something up for you. |

Covers measuring the warp, making the cross, removing the warp without tangling, threading the heddles, and sleying the reed. I have some videos of this and will put them up as soon as I get access to video editing software. |
